Visitor Center at Glen Nevis
The Glen Nevis Visitor Centre is situated 1.5 miles along the Glen Nevis road from the Nevis bridge mini-roundabout. Here you will find information on walking and the local area. There are toilets and a shop where you can buy essentials, such as maps and snacks or a gift to remind you of your visit. The grounds around the centre have parking for approximately 80 cars and there are lots of places to picnic beside the riverside. The Visitor Centre bridge allows you to cross to the other side and you can either follow an enjoyable walk along the riverside or continue onto the Ben Nevis track.

Ben Nevis Events
Highland Council has introduced a booking policy for organised events in order to manage car parking, toilet cleansing, litter collection, ground maintenance and event booking services, to ensure participants have a pleasant experience on Ben Nevis and at the Visitor Centre. Information is collated on events that are taking place on Ben Nevis allowing the Centre to give you details of events already booked helping to avoid your event clashing with others.
An online diary can be found at http://www.bennevisweather.co.uk detailing all events booked in on Ben Nevis. Please have a look at the dates available and contact the Visitor Centre Manager with any queries.
All organised events of more than 10 people must be booked through the Glen Nevis Visitor Centre manager before finalising event dates. You can download a Ben Nevis event booking form here or obtain a form directly from the Visitor Centre.

The Visitor Centre is open 7 days a week, all year. Opening times are:
Summer - 8.30am to 6pm
Spring / Autumn - 9am to 5pm
Winter - 9am to 2.30pm
